San Francisco Bay Area Interactive Group (SFBIG) First Annual iHack Golf Tourney a Sell Out

Photographed Golfers and After Party Attendees Available for Viewing

San Francisco, CA – September 28, 2007 – Named as one of the “Top 100 Golf Courses You Can Play,” by Golf Magazine, San Francisco’s Harding Park was the home to a sell-out crowd of leading digital and brand marketers, publishers and agencies hitting the green at the San Francisco Bay Area Interactive Group’s (SFBIG) First Annual iHack Golf Event.  Photographed golfers and after party attendees can be found in the San Francisco Bay Area Interactive Group pages on Facebook. We encourage all active SFBIG members to join the Facebook Group "San Francisco Bay Area Interactive Group" at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=3328730337

“The support for our first annual golf event really speaks to the active level of participation within our group,” states Lynn Ingham, President, San Francisco Bay Area Interactive Group.  “We are also thankful to have such dedicated sponsors which make events like these so much fun.”

MediaSpan drove a (very popular) beverage cart to keep the cold drinks flowing, and WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive provided tasty lunchboxes for the carts.  Undertone Networks hosted a fabulous after-party at the course where food, drink and music made for a very nice ending to a beautiful, enjoyable day.  One of our golf event sponsors also used their wits and their technology shooting amazing video footage of golfers posted for your viewing at http://www.tremormedia.com/golf/index.html

"We were pleased to sell out the sponsorships,” adds Paula Storti, Communication Chair, San Francisco Bay Area Interactive Group.  “It was wonderful to accommodate all individual foursomes as well as people who joined the morning of the event."

Thanks to our major annual sponsors - Adify, Atlas/Drive PM, Microsoft, Undertone Networks, ValueClick Media, WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive, and Yahoo! - and a host of new ones for this event only: WhitePages, Kontera, BlueLithium, Eyeblaster, Revenue Science, Community Connect Inc., Centro, CondeNast, AOL Media Networks, TACODA, Exponential/Tribal Fusion, i2i Placement, Tremor, Topix, Weather Underground.
